Move-In & Move-Out Cleaning in Boston

Move-in and move-out cleaning is a detailed cleaning of an empty (or nearly empty) home: inside cabinets and closets, appliance exteriors, bathrooms, floors, and the buildup that furniture hides. One service covers both directions — cleaning a home you are leaving, or making the one you are moving into actually feel clean. Boston's September 1 lease cycle books up early; reserve your slot as soon as you know your dates.

Who this service is for

  • Renters leaving an apartment at the end of a lease
  • Buyers and renters moving into a new home
  • Landlords and property managers turning over units
  • Realtors preparing a home for listing or handoff

Which move situation is yours?

Renters moving out

A documented cleaning of the empty unit, working from a defined checklist. We clean; we don't assess damage or make promises about your deposit — what a landlord may deduct depends on your lease, the unit's condition, and Massachusetts law, which is between you and your landlord.

Moving in

The previous occupant's cleaning standard doesn't have to be yours. We clean the empty unit before your boxes arrive — cabinets, bathrooms, floors, and everything at hand height that other people touched.

Landlords & property managers

Turnover cleaning between tenants on a repeatable checklist, scheduled around your access windows. Ask us about recurring turnover arrangements.

Realtors & sellers

Pre-listing or pre-closing cleaning so the home shows the way the photos promised.

Move-in / move-out questions

Will this cleaning get my security deposit back?

No one can honestly promise that. Deposits depend on your lease, the unit's condition beyond cleaning, and Massachusetts law. What we can promise is a documented cleaning against the checklist on this page, which addresses the cleaning portion of a normal turnover.

Is the inside of the oven and fridge really included?

Yes. Unlike our standard and deep cleanings (where they're add-ons), move cleanings include them because turnovers require them.

Can you clean while movers are working?

It rarely goes well — we recommend scheduling after the unit is empty (or before boxes arrive). If timing is tight, tell us and we'll plan realistically.

Do you serve landlords with multiple units?

Yes — ask us about scheduling recurring turnovers through the contact page.
